Ways to Give

Achievement Centers for Children & Families depend on the community’s support to keep our many programs and services available to the families we serve. Eighty-six cents of every dollar goes directly back to our programs and your donation, in any amount, will help with the assistance needed for these programs.
Support Achievement Centers for Children & Families in a way that makes sense for you. Whether it is through a monetary contribution or donation of your time, your commitment will be making a difference in the lives of our community’s most underserved children and families.

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is the backbone of our unrestricted fundraising efforts and supports the general operating expenses. In short, it helps to keep our lights on. Please consider making a one-time annual or monthly reoccurring tax-deductible gift to help children and families living in our community break the cycle of poverty through affordable education and family strengthening.

A Step in the Right Direction

“Why shoes?’ you ask. Families who live below the poverty level often have to choose between groceries and basic necessities for their children. Sally and Bob Painter, founders of A Step in the Right Direction, recognized the need for well-fitting, comfortable sneakers for the over 600 children at the Achievement Center in Delray Beach. New shoes offer comfort, dignity and joy, allowing the kids to fit in with others rather than suffer the embarrassment and pain of shoes that do not fit properly or are completely worn out. By rallying their friends, family and neighbors, Bob and Sally intend to solve this basic problem by funding the purchase of new shoes throughout the school year.

Sally and Bob Painter have established A Step in the Right Direction to provide with well-fitting, comfortable sneakers, through their partnership with New Balance. The funds donated will be used to purchase sneakers for students at Achievement Centers for Children & Families.
