With a strong focus on education and family strengthening programming, Achievement Centers has touched thousands of lives. Achievement Centers is a community-based, private nonprofit organization located in a priority neighborhood of Delray Beach and continues to grow with nearly 90 employees, three sites, and a total annual operating budget of $4.5 million. Executive Director

Executive Director Position Summary The Executive Director (ED) of the Achievement Centers for Children & Families Foundation serves as the leader of the organization and its primary public representative, reporting directly to the Foundation Board of Directors. The ED works in partnership with the board to ensure that the organization fulfills its mission and to create strategies that ensure its future success. Activity Instructor

The Activity Instructor oversees an assigned group of students and provides academic and extracurricular activities in a safe and structured environment. This position works in concert with program staff members to administer a wide variety of engaging learning opportunities to children and students. Learn more.

Certified Teacher

The Certified Teacher is responsible for providing a high quality learning environment to children and families enrolled. This position implements age-appropriate curriculum, establishes and maintains supportive relationships with children and parents, evaluates developmental growth, and assesses educational outcomes. Delivery of childcare must model best practices as outlined by agency policies as well as licensing, monitoring, funding, and contract agencies. Learn more.
